Our Story

Megan and Charlie met in Cincinnati, Ohio, in September 2022. It was immediately clear to both of them that they were each other’s answered prayer. After only a few dates, they were inseparable and soon began their next chapter together by moving to Yellow Springs, Ohio. Along the way, they discovered a shared love of gaming and the outdoors, especially long hikes that made ordinary days feel like small adventures. As their bond deepened, they found joy in building a life side by side through gardening, biking, and trying new hobbies, always cheering each other on.

They’ve traveled together to places like Florida and South Carolina, collecting memories and laughter wherever they go. They’ve also held each other through seasons of grief and loss, proving that love is not only celebration but also steadfast presence. And of course, no story of theirs is complete without Willow, their beloved pet rabbit, who has filled their home with comfort and sweetness. Charlie proposed beneath a willow tree, a nod to Willow and a symbol of the rooted love Megan and Charlie share.

Their life together is made even richer by the people who surround them, including bonfire nights with friends, good conversation, and the kind of laughter that lingers long after the flames burn low. Along the way, they’ve also become a true part of each other’s families, grateful for the love and welcome that has made their story feel even more like home. Over the years, they’ve become each other’s greatest confidant, best friend, and home.

As they prepare for their September celebration, they are grateful for the family and friends who have supported their journey and can’t wait to welcome everyone to Miamisburg for a day of love and joy.
